Evaluating functional neural circuitry and neuronal oscillations in human cerebral organoids and assembloids

Written by Cambridge NeuroTech | June 11, 2024
This webinar with Michael Zabolocki from Jurgen Knoblich's lab take us on  deep-dive on new approaches for electrophysiological recordings using our silicon neural probes to evaluate neuronal oscillations and single-cell spiking dynamics in human cerebral organoids, along with functional dopaminergic connections in assembloids.

is a Marie-Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in Professor Juergen Knoblich’s Laboratory at IMBA (Vienna, Austria). He utilizes cerebral organoids and assembloids, developed from human embryonic or patient-derived induced pluripotent cells (hiPSCs), to understand prenatal network abnormalities in neurodevelopmental disorders.
